There is a beauty in winter like no other time of the year...The creatures, the quietness, the colors of 'cold' weather.  
There is a stillness in winter like no other time of the year...when the snow falls like feathers from an unseen white bird.  
There is an anticipation in winter like no other time of the year...a waiting for warmer days, tiny green buds growing into green leaves, that first robin, longer days.  
There is a gift in winter...like no other time of the year...a reminder to be still, a reminder to listen to the quiet, a reminder to live in the moment but to be adventuresome enough to look for that first sign that warmer days are just around the corner.
